The 2D grading system allows for elevations to be programmed into the computer of the excavator. That makes for precise and efficient digging. Over or under digging is eliminated so the trades that come in after have no stress in fixing an improper excavation. The tiltrotator is an attachment on the excavator that allows the bucket to spin 360 degrees and tilt 45 degrees side to side. That allows the operator to be even more efficient by not having to reposition the machine to dig. They can also manipulate the bucket to dig delicately alongside utilities without hitting them.
